“The Salvation Army cares and supports New Zealanders who are living in poverty. Christmas and the holiday season bring extra hardship and sadness to the lives of people we work with as they face the added cost and expectations that this time of the year brings. For thousands of families the Christmas struggle is real and The Salvation Army wants to make sure that we can help them with Christmas food and gift support, as well as financial mentoring and accommodation assistance if required.
